Capitol Green Plaza



The Capitol Green Plaza complex is located at 623 Court Street, Jackson, Mississippi 39201 (see map below). The property is at the intersection of Court and Commerce Streets in downtown Jackson.

The plaza is centrally located, in the very heart of the proposed Old Capitol Green Development area which is a joint redevelopment project of Entergy and the State of Mississippi. Within a five minute walking distance are located the Jackson Arts District, Thalia Mara Hall, The Mississippi Museum of Art, the Russell C. Davis Planetarium, the Telecommunications Center, the Convention Center, the Old Capitol Inn, the Mississippi Coliseum, the Farmer's Market, the Eudora Welty Library, the William Winter Archives Center, the First Baptist Church, St. Andrews Episcopal Church, St. Peter's Catholic Church, Galloway Methodist Church, the Mississippi College School of Law, Smith Park, and both the Old and New Capitols. Trustmark Bank's South State Street branch office is located one building away. Entergy is located directly across the street. The Mississippi Baptist Hospital is located within one mile of the complex. The University Hospital, the Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital, the St. Dominic's Hospital and the Sonny Montgomery Veteran's Administration Hospital are located within a five minute drive.

The complex is easily reached from both I-20 and I-55 or from Rankin County via Old Brandon Road and the Silas Brown Bridge.
